Those who have been to Disney with little ones.....which theme park!
We are going on a big family trip to Disney in June. I have 5 year old twins and my youngest will be almost 4 at the time. If you could only go to 1 Disney theme park with your littles which one would be best? Magic kingdom or Hollywood studios? We have a bunch of other stuff planned with the family throughout the week so we are taking a day to go to one park just the five of us. Also, I want to surprise the kids the morning we are leaving. Any ideas? TIA!

Hands down Magic Kingdom!! My 5 year old and 2 year old loved magic Kingdom. They did not enjoy Hollywood stuidios as much as there is less to do there for them. Stick to Disney world you wont regret it. My kids favorite ride there was Winne the Pooh and Peter Pan if that helps you with picking fast pass. haha!

If you can only do ONE park with kids that age and it's their first time...I would absolutely do Magic Kingdom. Hollywood Studios is great, but MK just has that "magic".

You should look at what you would want to do at each park.
We actually really like HS. They have a lot of shows which are great because you aren't spending 2 hrs waiting on lines for a ride. I would see if your family would like the shows and decide from there. We enjoy Disney Jr. Live, Beauty and the Beast, Car stunt show, Little Mermaid, Frozen sing along, Fantasmic light show at night. If you are able to fast pass you can Toy Story ride.
They have a great Disney jr. character meal at Hollywood and Vine.

Definitely MK.
My kids probably love AK best but they are obsessed with animals and have been to Disney a few times already.

I love HS BUT if it's their first time and you have to pick one park..it would def have to be Magic Kingdom! My kids LOVED Dumbo, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh rides...so much fun!!

Hands down, NO question.............Magic Kingdom. It's my FAVORITE park and out of all the parks, it was my kids favorite too. They were 1.5 yrs old and 6 yrs old when we were there!

Magic Kingdom. When you think of Disney, it is Magic Kingdom. We loved the Disney Junior breakfast at Hollywood Studios, but honestly was not as much to do there. We were fine with half a day at Hollywood Studios.

Magic Kingdom. When we were there, we only spent half a day at HS because there weren't very many rides my kids could go on. They liked the shows, but after 2 or 3 they were over it and wanted rides. Magic Kingdom all the way.

Magic Kingdom!
There is not enough for little kids to do at HS and what little they have is underwhelming IMO.

We only do day trips with my DS so far with Disney. We took him to MK when he was 11 months, AK last year at 3 and we are going in the spring and taking him to HS. It really depends on what your kids like. My DS loves animals so he loved AK.

Def Magic Kingdom. I just went about a month ago with my 5 month old and there was so much even for a 5 month old to do. I've never seen her so happy ever!

Re: Those who have been to Disney with little ones.....which theme park!
we just in October Magic Kingdom I was actually kind of disappointed in HS ... its def not a whole day only reason why we made it last all day was because we had lunch reservations and fast passes for the roller coaster there which I didn't want to miss.
ETA: the star wars stuff was closed when wen went if your kids are star wars fan they may like HS.
AK was my second favorite park for the kids.

definitely Magic kingdom for a first trip, if you're only doing one park. its definitely the "Disney" people think about! you could probably spend 2 days there with younger kids- so much for them there! something we did on our trip in august that i never did before was making a dinner reservation before the park opened--- Crystal Palace is a fun one with Pooh, eeyore, piglet, etc.... or theres also Be our guest breakfast, or if you have girls-- Cinderallas royal table.... ANYWAY you can make the breakfast reservation for like 8:15 AM if the park opens at 9. you can eat, and be in line for rides first thing, before the crowds really hit. bonus is you can get pictures of an almost empty main street/in front of the castle hard to get up that early in vacation- but worth it
