PODS storage container
We are in the process of selling our home. It doesn't look like the timing is going to work out for us to move out of this one and right into a new one as we have yet to find a new one! During the transition period we will be living with family. Instead of renting a storage space at a facility, we were considering getting a Pod for any of the stuff that we don't have space for at the moment, transporting that to where we will be staying and then eventually to our new home. Has anyone used this service before or one like it?

Re: PODS storage container
My daughter was in a similar situation this past summer. They needed to move out of the house they were living in at the beginning of June, and weren't able to close on the house they bought until the end of July. They used a company called zippy shell, which is similar to pods. It was very easy and convenient, and less work than moving things to storage and then repacking them and moving again.

If it's a short time period, many moving companies will store your boxes/furniture for you and then move them into your new house. Less work on you if there's a lot of stuff you know you won't need during that time.

PODS storage container
Yeah for 3 months. Want cheap b but definitely easier than self storage. But if they live in NYC limits, be prepared to shell out more for the packing or unloading day
