Fibroids and FET

Hi, ladies. Thinking about a FET late summer. Have 6 frosties left over from my fresh IVF cycle that gave us our baby nine months ago. However, I was told during one ultrasound while pregnant that I have fibroids. Is this something I need to look into before I consider a FET? Anyone have any experience? Can they be removed? I really don't know location, size, etc. I made an appointment with my GYN next week to discuss but wanted to get some real-life insight. Thank you!

I have fibroids. They didn't interfere with either of my pregnancies.

If you were already able to sustain a pregnancy, chances are it won't affect your next pregnancy. In some cases they are very big or growing, and then you may need to consider surgery to remove it. Otherwise, it's just something you live with.

i think it depends on location and size. I found out I have a fibroid when I went for my first FET. My RE didn't seem concerned about it affecting that cycle.

Thank you, ladies! I will chat with my OB/GYN next week. I have a feeling she may request an ultrasound which is fine by me. Just want to get all this out of the way before deciding when to move ahead with the FET.
