Shrinkage rant
Is it so hard to make clothes that fit the same after a 1st wash?
I bought 2 shirts from the Gap a few days ago. Same shirt different colors. Wore one and washed it and it shrunk considerably. I will be returning them today.
So frustrating Most of my clothes I don't even toss in the dryer. I hang dry so much of it. I feel like I have to stop washing them next to make sure they keep the fit
Anyone else find this happening more and more?

Re: Shrinkage rant
I hate washing my things for this reason. I make sure to use only cold water and I never use the dryer. So far, I haven't had too many issues

Re: Shrinkage rant
Being tall, I could never afford the risk of shrinkage, so I air dry most of my clothes. I've been doing that for almost 3 decades.

Re: Shrinkage rant
I wash everything except towels in cold water and air dry clothes. But of the clothing hasn't gone thru the pre shrinking process, you're screwed either way

Yup. Only cold and hang dry almost everything.
Usually doesnt matter. Im just so tired of trying to decide if I I should buy a size up to allow for shrinkage. I should just automatically do it from now on. Seems everything I buy lately shrinks.
