Bronchitis/chest cold
Been to an emergency clinic doc and regular doc. Both said bronchitis is so rampant this year. Anyone dealing with it? I never had it before but it feels like it's taking forever to go away. My doc says maybe he will send me for an X-ray if it's still bugging me in a few days but he still doesn't hear signs of pneumonia. I've been on steroids, inhaler, zpack, cough pills. Been using vaporizer and everything. It's been two weeks. It's better but I still don't feel 100%.
Any tips or advice? How long did it linger for you?

Bronchitis/chest cold
I have cough for the past week with some phlegm but per the provider its no affecting my lungs or respiratory system.
My ears were very itchy and my throat was so rough I could not speak. My head was so sore and the pressure was so crushing I felt like throwing up and had a bad headache. I think part of it is allergies which seems odd in the winter.
Feel Better!!!

Re: Bronchitis/chest cold
Have it right now. I get it a couple of times a year. It is hit or miss with how bad it can be... I started to not feel great on Wednesday. At clinic on Friday. Sinus infection ad URI. My inhaler is keeping me feeling ok for now. I have a nebulizer in case it gets bad. The last time I had it really bad I had a cough for 4 weeks. But only felt crappy for one week. My allergies triggered most of it as I spent last weekend helping a friend move...

Re: Bronchitis/chest cold
I would say this had me down for 8-10 days total. On the couch for three days but gross and exhausted before and after. My chest was so sore. Feel better!

Re: Bronchitis/chest cold
My whole family has bronchitis. I've had it about 2 weeks, still coughing lots. I didn't take meds, though.

i was coughing for over a month - keep an eye on it though i ended up with pneumonia. I needed a stronger antibiotic and steroids.

I've had Chronic bronchitis since I was a baby. It can linger for quite awhile. Do you feel any better? IMO, if it's bronchitis, you need a better antibiotic. I don't particularly like the ZPac, not strong enough. But if you are feeling better and just dealing with the cough, phlegm etc...yes, that can take like over a month to go completely away. Hope that made sense!
