gender reveal ideas- no cake
We are having a gender party on 2/6, but I want to do something different than the balloons, cake, or cupcake reveals... I saw gender reveal scratch off tickets, but I wanted to see if anyone else had some unique ideas for the party that I am not thinking of!

Im crashing, you can buy hershey bars that read he or she.
Buy carnations or daisies and have x amount in pink and x amount in blue to hand out.
or buy small metal gift pails and paint some blue others pink and fill then with M&M's of the same color
or fill with Hershey kisses wrapped in pink foil or blue foil.

My sister in law did silly string...she had someone she trusted wrap the cans and put them in the basket...we all squirted it out on them to reveal.

i saw the poppers and silly string, but it's an indoor party at my mom's house, and I want to stray away from anything that will make a huge mess- The silly string sounds awesome, but I think it would work out better if it was outdoors

She totally did it indoors...She draped white sheets in a corner of the house, which made for good photos during...they pretty much contained the mess!

My friends had a local toy store wrap up either a pink or blue teddy bear in a large oversized box. It was great because their 4 older kids dove in to unwrap the present!

Crashing my friend did a piñata filled with "blue" candy it was cute! Her and her hubby swung until it busted!

Mom and dad each took a piece of gum. One chewed pink one blue. Each blew a bubble
Same time. Whichever had the gender in heir mouth popped he others bubble

We did a balloon paint reveal. We filled black balloons with a bunch of gender neutral paint colors and one balloon had blue. My kids threw darts at the balloons and found out that way. It was really fun and now we have a little art project in the nursery since we popped them on a canvas.

We just did one on Christmas Eve but it’s not indoor friendly. We got fireworks in the color of the gender – lit them up and waited to see if it was blue or red. It was pretty exciting! The weather on Christmas Eve was perfect for it too!

We did water balloons filled with paint and threw them at a canvas. When the balloon popped it created beautiful pink artwork! Unfortunately, my sister watered down the paint to much so it eventually evaporated right off!

One boy. Bring a box to the office and ask them to put the gender envelope in the box with the gender outfit
Keep the other in office till next appt

There are gender reveal candles. It takes about a half hour for it to burn down to the color. I think this is a cute idea but I wouldn't have the patience for this lol.

i got these fizzy tablets from Etsy. It comes with two. One that dissolves and turns the water blue and one pink. I had my niece and nephews drop the tablet in to do the reveal. It was fun!

We did silly string. My mom set it up. We did it inside - me & DD sitting on a big sheet. My mom covered the cans & everyone squirted us. It was a really cool moment. I was SURE it was a girl, so I wondered why the pink looked gray. Lmao. Then I realized it was BLUE! One of my most amazing & surreal moments of my life. We got a good video of it and some amazing gender reveal photos.

my cousin had someone wrap a girl or boy outfit like a gift, and she had her son unwrap it to reveal the gender
my coworker's daughter had a black balloon filled with small blue or pink balloons and so when she popped it, it revealed the gender.

We used shoes! We displayed the shoes as everyone came in so they knew what to look for when we finally did the reveal...We had a friend place the right shoes in a box right before it was time!
