Long Island Aquarium now?
Considering going to the LI Aquarium over Easter Break bc we don't celebrate and have nothing going on. Is it to cold to go to the aquarium? Is most of it indoors or something?

It's mostly indoors, but by Easter break it could be much warmer anyway!

Mostly indoors but we have gone even in the winter and are able to run out depending on the day. If it is your first time be warned.. it isn't a big place. I expected it to be a most of the day thing and even moving at a snails pace we were done pretty quickly. It's great for younger aged children though.

Thank you for the info! They are doing Brunch with the Easter Bunny and then you get admission to the aquarium, so I figured with both it will keep us entertained for a bit.

I think this is the way to go. Admission costs alone are so high, so bundling it with an event would make it much more worthwhile, to me anyway. This way if it's a cold or rainy day and you can't take advantage of the outdoors, at least you're getting something else to extend the day.

There is also the bowling alley in Riverhead or safari jungle if you need them to be completely wiped out before you go home :)

Long Island Aquarium now?
We just did it this past weekend and were able to spend some time outside since it wasn't too cold. It only took us 2 hours or so to go through everything and see the sea lions show.

Just went last week. There are some outdoor exhibits open and the sea lion show was running a few times a day. My kids enjoyed it! We went to friendly's to eat afterwards so we made a little day out of it. You can find a $2 off per guest coupon online if you choose to go. Have fun!
