5 ur old boy party suggestions!!

Ok so I know this probably gets ask a lot but I can't even images spending 600$+ for a birthday party. It's for 1hr 1/2... It's just crazy expensive. Anyone have suggestions for a reasonable priced party? Seaford massapequa area close to 135 so can easily travel alittle bit. I was looking into United skates but not sure if they are to young.. And is it rude to put no sibling in invite I had people bring siblings last time and I have to pay for them and they took goody bags not having enough for my own guests... Thanks for the help!!

We are having my six year old ds bday party at tackapausha museum this summer. They were reasonably priced. We have also been to ice skating, bowling, karate and laser tag parties in the area. All great for five year old boys.

i live in NJ... BUT we had my son's 5th birthday at a Gymnastics place. it was GREAT!! so fun for both the boys and the girls that were there. they did some gymnastics type stuff, but the place also set up a bounce house and a huge bouncy slide, rope swing into a foam pit, etc.... it was an hour in the gym then 30 minutes in the party room. i think it ended up being about $300, with a tip for the "hosts". Maybe theres a local gymnastics place that also does bday parties??

5 ur old boy party suggestions!!

My best friend had her son's 5th b-day party at United Skates last September and it was great! Everyone had a blast! They have those little walker-type things that you can rent if the kids can't skate on their own yet.

We had a movie theater party that was pretty inexpensive compared to most other places we looked at, especially if you have a lot of children.

How did that work did you have to pay for parents?

I think the package included 25 people but the cost per person over that was minimal. I think $8 or less per person over and that included popcorn and drink for them.

My friend did movie theatre. She had the place to herself. I think she could invite like 72 peple or something. The children all got popcorn & drink.
She did cake at the end.

I think it was Bellmore. They saw the Dinosaur movie that was just out.

We are doing a movie theater party at the Bellmore theater. It's a great deal they offer and you can invite a lot of people- adults are free as are the birthday child and his/her siblings. They offer food packages, but we are bringing in our own as it's much cheaper and we don't mind having to deal with it. We've been to a couple of movie theater parties and they're great!

Wow! I'm surprised they let you bring your own. What kind of food are you bringing? I was just checking bell more out. It's bell more playhouse right?

Yes, it's the bellmore playhouse. We are bringing in bagels, spreads, coffee, etc and a cake. We are doing a 10:00 - 10:30 breakfast. Then the movie starts and the kids get unlimited popcorn, soda, juice. Then the movie ends and we have the cake.

The movie choice is the only issue as it depends on what's playing when you want to schedule the party. We didn't have too many choices for movies that are appropriate for 5 year olds. We are going to see Ratchet and Clank.

some movie theaters let you bring in your own movie!

also depending on how many kids you are having bowling does work out to be cheaper per person then bounce party.

also check groupon sometimes they have deals you can use.

another cheap bday party was California pizza kitchen. its only $10 per kid. the only thing that gets expensive is feeding parent but I only got a couple apps for them.

as far as siblings no its not rude to say no siblings. its actually pretty rude for any parent to bring a sibling and expect them to play or get any kind of favor

I thought Cali pizza was such a good idea but dh vetoed it... It drives me nuts when people bring the kids or even ask... We sometimes have to cut our friends so he can invite his whole class. Idk I'm not in there shoes I have a people who could watch my dd while I take my ds to a party I guess. I love the idea of bringing your own movie... Very cool thanks for the info!
