Swing Set & Cesspool

Do not have a big backyard so limited on where to place a swing set. What are the rules/guidelines on swing sets and cesspools?

You're not supposed to install a swing set over one.

Would you happen to know how far it should be from one?
TIA

Re: Swing Set & Cesspool

My septic system is designed to park on top of (and I do), so a swingset wouldn't be a weight issue, but it depends on your tank(s). I've never heard of any rules or regulations about swing sets and septic tanks.
What type of swing set are you thinking of? A simple A frame with two swings, or a big, heavy wooden structure?
Also, as all of us who have dealt with our Towns and permits, every town is different. What I can do in my town may not apply to your town.

We don't have a CP but I know there are recommendations about the stability of the ground underneath the swing set.
