straightening irons
My daughter has begun to straighten her own hair!
I would like to get her a high quality iron. She is currently using one I got years ago at Target for like $20. It works ok, but I'm sure there are much MUCH better options out there. With this one, it can take more than one pass, and sometimes there is still frizz left behind.
Would prefer to not spend over $100 if I can help it, but will go higher if it is something that will last her until college lol.

Look at the Hot Tools ones at Ulta. I just replaced my recently but only because I need a dual voltage one to travel with...otherwise my old one was perfectly fine after years of daily use.

Agreed - love my Chi. I have thick wavy hair and when I use my Chi, you'd never know it

Thanks, I will check out both of these options.
Sigh. I can't believe it. It feels like just yesterday I was trying to find enough hair to put it in a little ponytail on the top of her head. And now she is using product and tools better than I could ever hope to lol.

I'm not a mom but I look at one of my nieces and just don't know where the time went! She's almost taller than me!
