Physical Therapist for Infants
Can anyone recommend a physical therapist who works with infants? Both of my twins have torticolis, they are 3 months old. We are in the early intervention process, but if they qualify for services, they can't start for at least 5 weeks and we really want to get going ASAP.
Ideally looking for someone who could travel to us, either in Bethpage or Amityville.

Physical Therapist for Infants
DD (8 months) is currently getting in home PT from Catholic Home Care.
ETA: Until EI kicks in. Our IFSP meeting is 5/24 so I'm hoping we'll get started the first week of June.

Both of my twins had it to, but the therapist retired. We did bring on our own to private place in merrick, but I don't really think she got it. I didn't know that until I was what the early intervention therapist did.

Re: Physical Therapist for Infants
I LOVE mine... she's been with my family for over 3 years (Has worked with 3 out of my 4 kids). She works through Pediatric Physical Therapy (PPT). We have been using her through Early intervention, so I don't know if she takes payment or insurance privately. But i would definitely recommend PPT as an agency.

Most therapists only come during the day. If you work, they will go to the daycare & do therapy or to whomever watches them. I doubt you will be able to find someone come at night.
