Central AC recommendations
Finally getting my central AC done and need recommendations. I got quotes 2 years ago from some of the major companies out there that ranged from 11k-18k but as I searched the forums I saw a lot of quotes under 10k. We have a 4 bedroom colonial and need duct work put in, any and all recommendations are welcome!!!

Where are you located? We used Apple Air in Seaford. We were happy with the install. We only replaced the compressor and air handler and had existing ductwork and it cost around 7,200 I believe... we got 1k back as a LIPA/PSEG rebate.

We used Jack Benger HVAC- he has an ad on here- he was great! Most competitive rates we received.

we used Galletta last summer and were very happy with them.. not sure of pricing since our old system broke and we had it upgraded to a new one, so im not sure if that price is different than what yours would be with installing a whole new system.. but we paid under 10k and they had one year interest free financing available. also check for coupons for them in the things that come in the mail, I found one and that saved us some money. ETA- we also got a pseg rebate which I think was like $800 or so

Definitely call Twin Air - Family owned and operated - GREAT EXPERIENCE all around from the initial call till completion.
