Safe t swim
Hi all, I signed my 4 month old up for private lessons at safe t swim and just wanted to see if anyone had any experience. I've heard some mixed reviews and they told me I can't be in the pool and that I watch from the observation room which has me a little nervous. So please give me some insight on what to expect..thanks!@

Re: Safe t swim
My DDs have been at safety swim for almost 5 years.
Both have done extremely well and both are great swimmers.
Overall we have had a great experience and would recommend them.
As a first time mom at swim, I can understand your concern, especially with a little one. But the younger they get used to the water the better and the teachers are great. You can see everything from the observation room. And I have found the teacher to be very receptive to my concerns.
Good luck!

Safe t swim
My kids are all at Saf t swim. We like the one on one lessons. I sit in the actual pool room, not in the observation room.
I would watch for the observation room. if your baby cries, eventually they'll get used to the class and start liking it. This is what I've observed while waiting on my own kids, the criers stopped crying a few classes in.

Re: Safe t swim
Like the poster before me said, you can watch in the pool area if you want. 30 minutes before or after the lesson, you can swim with your child, just not during the lesson. You don't want to distract them. Swimming lessons was the best investment I spent for my kids. I think learning how to swim is so important for kids. I had a great experience at Safe T swim with my boys.

Re: Safe t swim
My kids have been going for over a year and it's the best money I ever spent. My DD was terrified of the water and didn't want to even get her face wet. Now she's jumping in, swimming under water, and doing laps across the pool. It's amazing how far she has come. I saw an improvement in just weeks of being there.
I sit in the observation room and watch her and my DS through the glass. In all my time there I've never actually seen a parent wait in the actual pool room or be in the pool at all. It's always just instructors, maybe that's just the time/day/location though.

You! Free from 2 months I believe to 6 months that's what we are doing. Thank you all so much for writing back and making me feel so much better! I think it's going to be great after reading all your responses.
