Louis Vuitton
So I am purchasing my 1st Louis Vuitton soon. I want the Duomo Hobo. Where is the best place place to get it? Do I need to call ahead and make sure they have the one I want? Should I just order it online?

I got mine at the Louie store in Roosevelt Field, it's in Macy's
Doesn't hurt to call to make sure they have the one you want. I find the Louie in Manhasset snotty

Never hurts to call ahead. For the best place to go, it really depends on the specific salesperson and I find there's a lot of turnover. For a while I didn't like the manhasset store and strongly favored saks at WW. In the last year or two, I've started to favor manhasset. They were lovely to me the last several times I've been there, and found WW impatient.
Though like I said, just gotta get the right sales person.

If you know the exact bag you're looking for, order online or call ahead to be sure they have it, b/c if thery don't, they'll try to talk you into something else ..........
Manhassett is snooty, and more so the customers than the staff take FOREVER so you're waiting while someone tries on 50 bags and leaves with nothing ..... Macys in Roosevelt Field I found to be obnoxious .......Walt Whitman was very nice -
but, if I'm going in there to buy, I know what I want (like you) so I'm the easiest customer ......there's NO reason for you give me attitude, so if you do - I'm completely turned off.
