How does it work? What do you do with the points you accumulate by writing a review?

nothing. they just email you to tell you when someone thought your review was helpful. They may send you a bumper sticker or a hat.
We email hotels before we check in and include our tripadvisor info in the signature.

You don't get anything. I use it and Yelp because I just enjoy writing and reading reviews.

I have never gotten anything. I strictly review because I actually read others. I hate getting stiffed on a place.

not sure. we almost always get upgraded. We started doing to tripadvisor signature not even a year ago

not sure. we almost always get upgraded. We started doing to tripadvisor signature not even a year ago
What do you mean Tripadvisor signature?
Like "hey, we're excited about our coming stay at your hotel! Signed, Melissa2315@tripadvisor"?
Ok that was the worst attempt at making an example but I'm trying to figure out what the emails say and how exactly you would sign it to imply "wink, wink we'll write it up if your hotel sucks"
