I'm a Dr. T SIRM patient too. I had success with him a couple of years ago after being unsuccessful elsewhere. He was my miracle worker. When are you starting?

I don't know much about meds, I'm sorry. I would just call around to various pharmacies. I know SIRM uses Metro Drugs for intralipids so you can try there. Call Freedom too. I have also heard of ladies ordering from overseas and it being cheaper but I don't know if SIRM will do that.

Best of luck!

I had 3 failed transfers elsewhere and my first with Dr. T worked. I also added in Prednisone and Intralipids! He is the best!

Whats your diagnosis? I did Lupron too and I also added in HGH. Whats your protocol?

He also wants me to add HGH but I dont know how I feel about it plus it is $$$$$...

I will be on Lupron for 7-10 days (no BCP) then Follistim, Menupur & Ganirelix on day 3....

We are severe MF and now my old age lol although as per Dr T my eggs are of those that are 30!! which is giving me a little hope...

I have done about 8-9 IVFs (lost count) but this is our first with Dr T!

I was OOP and got my drugs from Metro Drugs on 68th and Lexington. I called the pharmacies that my RE's office suggested and the prices were all the same honestly. I used Metro Drugs because they were super convenient. I liked that I could go there in person rather than having meds delivered.

I personally wouldn't order from any international online pharmacy.

Oh, I'm so sorry you have been through so much. Hopefully Dr. T can make it happen! For me I figured I would try everything since nothing else was working so I did the HGH. Not sure if it helped but maybe that in conjunction with the immune meds and a bettr lab helped. Your protocol sounds just like mine. Thats pretty much what I did with Dr. T too.

Re: Trying again - Dr T's patient

Personally for two different meds I found Freedom Fertility to be cheaper than a few others and were REALLY willing to help out on working on pricing (like giving me a list of variations to ask my doctor about or telling me about rebates etc). Good luck!

Trying again - Dr T's patient

Definitely call around to different pharmacies. I literally called 6 pharmacies today (Kings, Kraupner, Alexanders, Freedom, Metro, and Apthorp) for leuprolide 2 week kit pricing and Apthorp (which I had never heard of till today) was about $200 cheaper because everyone else is price gouging because of a shortage.

Also, if you are up for less legit sources, there is a reproductive immunology facebook group I am a part of and people are always offering / selling medicines at greatly reduced prices.

Theres also Www.freegaragesale.com (click on medical) which I have never used but you can browse.

They told me $199.90 yesterday. so I had my nurse send over the script. I called today about it and they said its $359. I told her I got quoted 199 yesterday and she apologized but said they raised the price in may. The cheapest right now is Kraupner at $327 (although yesterday they told me $400 and my nurse they told $347) so I called back today and they swear its $327. I cant believe its legal to double the price because of a shortage.

Yay glad he is back and you are starting back up. I'm sure he has a good plan for you. I'll be seeing him again in a few weeks. What did you end up doing about meds?

Best of luck!

how do you know you have young eggs at over the age of 40? Just curious b/c there isnt a sure way to tell that. they will really only know once they go in and retrieve them.

Correct, there isnt a 100% proof test that will prove that but we are MF, I make a lot of eggs plus all my tests FSH, LH, E2, AMH, follicle count come back as those in early 30's....I was afraid that since I am over 40 by numbers would decline but fortunately they did not..Dr T was very happy to see it....
