I learned something new in my third and final pregnancy...
Entenmanns is highly underrated. I have had a ridiculous sweet tooth this pregnancy and going to the bakery every day was just not in the cards 1. Because I'll weigh 300 lbs and 2. who has time for that? so DH started bringing home Entenmanns from the grocery store. Why didn't I ever buy that before? I have had the chocolate chip cookies and donuts in the past but OMG the cakes??? The ultimate crumb? The white marshmellow one with the chocolate lines? Popems? Who needs munchkins? It is going to be a sad, sad day when I give birth and have to break up with Entenmanns so I can lose all this baby weight.

This has been my favorite since I was a kid. I lose total self control when I'm around it so I never buy it.

marble loaf, with haagen-dazs pistachio ice cream, and puree fresh straweberries
that's all i ate the last month of my pregnancy many moons ago!

YES!! man I remember this retired cake they had called the Metropolitan it was soooo good, yellow cake, topped with raspberry jam, vanilla frosting and coconut flakes on top, man I wish they brought that back!

I don't know where you live, but there is an entenmanns outlet on Glen Cove Road in Carle Place. Sometimes they even have cakes for a dollar. I always buy a few for they freezer when I'm in the area.

Oh my gosh, yesssss. I take one bite and I'm 5 again. Then I snap out of it, look down, and realize half the thing is gone.
