Small changes that add up
Anyone have any tips for small baby step changes that over time really add up with weight loss?
These are a few of mine
Parking further away instead of circling for a closer spot.
Not eating after 7pm. It's been challenging especially on the weekends if I'm out but it's really been helping and I don't feel like a slug in the morning
forcing myself to eat breakfast everyday. I'm not a breakfast person but if I start the day full I snack less and have less food cravings throughout the day.

Eating breakfast is def a good one!
I also try to aim for having X amounts of fruit or veggies a day. Start off with 1 or 2 and then build up from there.
Drink 8 cups of water a day! (Torture in the beginning bc you have to use the bathroom allllll the time but your body adjusts and then the urge decreases!)
Get a fitbit! When I first started, I was walking 2,000 steps a day.. I tried to just get to 5,000 per day at the beginning and now I'm averaging 13,000. Plus having my friends on there in challenges keeps me accountable (we're very competitive).

Use less sugar in my coffee/tea. I used to use 2.5 now I'm down to 1 and hoping to cut it completely!
Swap mayo for mustard. Swap fruit flavored yogurt for plain yogurt and add fresh berries. Swap whole eggs for 1 whole egg and liquid egg whites. Swap regular apples for green apples (have less sugar).
No longer eat anything after dinner.

- Less Salt - No eating past 8pm - No carbs with Dinner - Mix PB2 with Regular Peanut Butter for my Sandwiches (1/2 serving PB & 1 Serving PB2 - Makes my serving 50 calories less!) - Keep a healthy snack in my bag so I don't just grab anything when hungry
