9 month old new sleep habits
Within the last 2-3 weeks almost every night my DS will wake up in the middle of the night crying or just wants to play. Sometimes I can get him back to sleep right away other times it takes a lot longer. Since he was 5 months old he's slept through the night with no problem now this happens at least 5 nights a week. Has anyone else had this happen? TIA!

Funny you write this. My 8 month old is now getting up at 5am every morning. She was sleeping til about 7. May be a growth spurt, or may be the start of separation anxiety (she's realizing I exist even if I'm not with her, so I must be SOMEWHERE!).

Yup, this! I'm a firm believer that once you finally think you've got their routine figured out...they change it!

9 month old new sleep habits
The same thing happened when my son turned 8 months old at the end of June. He woke up sometimes evend more than once for 6 weeks. I finally just let him CIO, under protest...my husband was for it, i was not. The sleep training book tgat we have suggests going in every 5 minutes to soothe him, rub his back, talk to him and then leave. It only took 2 days and has now been sleeping through the night the last 2 weeks. Hopefully this lasts.

Ah! Is there anything I can do to make it stop? Last night we were up for at least 3 hours and I'm just exhausted lol
