Incomplete Circumcision?
They didn't remove enough skin. His ped said he "might" grow into it. Not sure exactly what that means. Haven't seen a urologist yet.
Any advice? Recommendations?
Anyone decide not to have the surgery to fix it?

Re: Incomplete Circumcision?
I had this happen with my first. Not enough skin was removed plus his urethra opening was too small, causing him to have redness & irritation when he peed. Took him to a urologist who fixed everything. With my 2nd DS, I didn't let my OB touch him. We had the urologist perform the circ right off the bat & will do it again with this next DS when he's born.

Re: Incomplete Circumcision?
My older son has too much skin left, not enough was removed.. I'm leaving it. He would need to be anesthetized to have it redone and I just don't want him to have to go through all that. The urologist said his isn't that excessive and as long as it's kept clean it should be ok. And maybe he'll grow into it , I was told the same. We'll see. At this point I'm leaving it alone and teaching him to keep it clean.

Re: Incomplete Circumcision?
Took my LO to the urologist, he fixed it. We have to,check back in a few months but he may still need surgery. If he needs surgery we will do it.

Re: Incomplete Circumcision?
My older son was recirmcumcised at 8 months cause the OB (she was a newbie) did not take enough. By 6 months, it looked like it was never done.
With my second, i made sure only my OB did it, male, practicing a long time and had 3 sons, that gave me comfort. I was considering having a urologist do it as the previous poster did. But he did a great job on DS2.
