gotcha- we purchased our home a year ago, and per refin, its estimating that our home appreciated $66k since we purchased

I find that it's more accurate than Zillow, but it obviously doesn't take into account upgrades you make, the actual condition of the house, etc. It's basically comparing your house to others nearby that have sold.

i bought almost 3 years ago and it said my house appreciated $60k. but it was right...i just refinanced and had it appraised.
and the PP is right too. i did a lot of upgrades in my house but redfin didn't know that. so maybe its not too accurate lol

We just had an appraisal for our refinance and redfin has us 25,000 below our appraised value!
