Buying a used car seat base?
With two on the way, obviously we need a lot of stuff. We registered for 2 bases for DHs car, I found one on but and sell for $20 for our car seat, but it expires mid 2017, would you even bother to buy it? Can you use a car seat base after it expires?

I would never use a seat after it expired. Why risk if.
As for buying a used seat or base, I would have to trust the person it was never in an accident.

No way should you use an expired car seat or base. Never buy used unless you trust the person and it's never been in an accident.
That being said lol. I will have 3 graco snugride 30/35 click connect bases that I'll be selling. Never been in an accident, not expired (manufactured in 2013 so good til 2019 I believe). I'm a crazy car seat person and would never sell them if they had any sort of damage or were used improperly.
