Thunder shirt or Rescue Remedy?
Looking for recs on how to help our pup through thunderstorms. I was looking into getting him a thunder shirt or start using rescue remedy. Did either of these solutions help your pet with anxiety during thunder storms? Any other solutions work for you? Thanks!

Honestly, neither helped my dog with seperation anxiety. He pulled himself out of the thunder shirt and the RR did nothing at all. Good luck.

The only thing that helps is drugs. Benadryl used to help. But now he's gotten used to it and it doesn't do a thing.
What you can do is put music on loud to try and drown out the thunder. We used to crate him and put loud music on. It helped some.
Now if we know a storm is coming, we drug him and let him stand behind the toilet or couch (places he hides when it storms or fireworks). I put blankets there for him to be comfortable until it passes.
