Pink spotting
Hi everyone- Just wondering if anyone has had spotting in early pregnancy? I am 7 weeks along. I had a sonogram on Monday this past week and saw the baby/heartbeat, etc...everything looked ok. Yesterday I had some pink, watery type discharge that was off and on throughout the day. This morning I woke up and see some more. I called my OB office yesterday when I first saw it, and they said it could be completely normal. I never had it during my first pregnancy, and I am a bit anxious as my second pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage. I am on progesterone suppositories twice a day as a precaution if that affects things at all. Thank you!

Pink spotting
Could definitely be from the progesterone. That stuff is so irritating and I had spotting multiple times from it during my first 10 weeks. I can never imagine having to use them again to be honest they suck!!! Hang in there drink some water and keep your feet up. Ask for an ultrasound if you are very concerned. They will do one!

Re: Pink spotting
Could be from the suppositories. I had spotting until 10w. The day I stopped the suppositories the day the spotting stopped. I would request a visit anyway. it. Couldn't hurt.

Pink spotting
Thanks ladies.. it seems to have stopped again for now. I have a doctor appointment with a sonogram scheduled for next Monday, but if it continues I will ask to come in early. It's been fairly minimal, but just enough to get me worried.

Pink spotting
spotting is pretty common. i had spotting for 2 of my pregnancies and everything was fine. as long as you let the doctor know, they can keep an eye on it. but don't stress, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Re: Pink spotting
spotting is pretty common in the first trimester from what i have been told. But definitely keep an eye on it.
I had spotting my first entire trimester. I had SCH and was on pelvic rest the entire first trimester pretty much. make sure you stay hydrated because that can cause spotting too. try not to do anything to strenuous either. relax as much as possible :) it could def be the progesterone though too!
