How and when do you give a gift or tip to the bus driver usually?

Gifts/Tips for School Bus Driver
We give him 20 for the holidays and end of year. He deals with our crazy day care schedule and makes sure DD gets off the bus at the correct stop. Thankfully our home stop and day care stop are on the same bus route.

This. We actually give a little more ($40) for this bus driver because he goes above & beyond. He's amazing. It's the person who I "overtip" for his amazing nature. He's called us that our kid had gotten sick on the bus, he carried him into school that day. He picks kid up from driveway in bad weather. They don't change drivers much in our district... I'm really lucky to have him!!
