Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
If you drive either of these cars, please tell me what you like/dislike about them. I can't decide between the 2. Help!

Re: Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
I drive an MDX and love the handling and overall low maintenance that I've experienced. I don't love the 3rd row - it's very tight and difficult (but not impossible) for an adult to get back there.

Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
We bought an MDX in April and I absolutely love it. It drives beautifully, it is easy to get into the third row (and compared to many other 3rd rows I find it to be roomier than other brands), and I think it's actually pretty good on gas.

Re: Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
We have both actually. My MDX is a 2008 and last year we had a TON of problems with it. prior to that point I loved it. We bought it new and took good care of it but a million things fell apart last year and the dealership service center was terrible.
The buick is a lot bigger, I like the captain's chairs and ease of access to the third row. Overall I like the buick better because with my three growing kids and carpools it makes it easier than the MDX. But the Buick also had a ton of recalls the first year. The buick is a 2014.
If I only had two kids I think I would go for the MDX. 3 or more definitely the Enclave.

Re: Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
I had a 2009 and a 2013 Enclave. Both treated me well and I loved my time with them. The 2009 did have a few recalls, but they were no issue to fix and no big issues. It was super quiet, had a ton of great features, captain's chairs for super easy access to 3rd row (I have 3 kids and carpool a ton). I always kept the 3rd row half down for more space because with the 3rd row fully up, there wasn't the space I really needed. That said, I just traded in my 2013 Enclave for a 2016 GMC Yukon XL (sister to the Suburban) and I am loving the space!!

Re: Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
I'm on my second MDX lease. I have 3 kids. I have 3 carseats across and use the third row occasionally with a booster seat for carpools.I LOVE how it drives. It feels like a fun sporty car even though it's a larger SUV. That being said, i find the NAV SOOOO slow and bad. I felt the same with with my prior MDX and thought I maybe just got a bad one. Everyone I know LOVES their nav so maybe i just have higher expectations? I feel like it sucks. It takes me to wrong places and through ridiculous routes. It also takes forever to go on and put addresses in. My next car will hopefully be an Acadia because i need more space but it drives super well.

Re: Trying to decide between MDX and Enclave
Enclave has easily accessible third row. New MDX does have captain chair option but with a center console only I believe, but 3rd row is still difficult to access if you have carseats in the second row.
MDX is a better vehicle, will ride better, perform better, etc, but enclave will be a bit more family friendly IMO>
