Nanny- Christmas Gift
Help! I need idea on what to give my nanny for Christmas. She is very quiet and doesn't talk a lot about her social life, so I'm not sure what to get her. Last year we got her a pretty bracelet. What are you giving your nannies/babysitters?

I don't have a nanny, but I'd give at least a weeks pay

Nanny- Christmas Gift
I'm a nanny... cash is the best gift... and then maybe a little something like a lotion/candle etc. or even a wallet to put gc inside... personally I like Vera Bradley stuff and love my keychain from Brighton

Nanny- Christmas Gift
We give money - at least a week's pay. I also pick up a little something tangible, like a small piece of jewelry, etc.

Re: Nanny- Christmas Gift
We will give her a weeks pay and a Vera Bradley bag (she uses a tote to come to our house and one of the lunch bags so I'm hoping she will like it). I'm also thinking about getting her movie tickets for her and her family.

Re: Nanny- Christmas Gift
When we had a nanny we bought her a new pair of snow boots (I knew she needed them so I asked her size) and also an extra week's pay.

Re: Nanny- Christmas Gift
gonna jump on this post too - sorry!
I have a nanny since Sept. who watches my baby two days a week (approx 15 hrs/week). Also picks up my son from school and has him an hour or two. I was going to give her a $50 gc with a little candle/Christmas decoration - is that enough?

I don't think so, but that is just me. I would give her a weeks pay

I agree. I always feel like it is well worth it to extra generous to the person who is caring for my kids.

A week's pay is what we did when we had a nanny
