What desserts will you be serving for the holidays?

I'm looking to change things up a bit this year for the holidays. There will be 10 adults and 6 kids. What are your favorite desserts to serve? If you have the recipe, please post the link. Thanks!

Hosting NY Eve for a few friends.

Desserts will be my homemade cookies, cream puffs, flour-less chocolate cake with whipped cream and berries.
I might add another cake or a fruit tart

Pavlova is always a big hit. My sister makes it every year but I'm going to attempt it this year. It looks easy enough. I also make a crumb cake for Christmas Eve at my in laws.

cookies- many different varieties
chocolate pudding pie
cranberry meringue tart
cream puffs
chocolate platter
dried fruits and mixed nuts platter

i think the best way to choose what you are serving is decide if you want chocolate based, cream based, a pie, platters with multiple things, fruit based, etc. and then pick from those categories.

I made mint chocolate chip cookies and butter cookies, and I am going to be making that Christmas Crack candy I saw online as well as an icebox cake (as requested by my family every year).

We always have icebox cake for Christmas...its whipped cream, lady fingers, chocolate wafer cookies, and pineapple layered.

Re: What desserts will you be serving for the holidays?

there's an old cuban christmas dessert that i haven't had in a million years. recently, i found a recipe online.

they're CUBAN BUNELOS.

they're like a fried donut with an anise syrup. can't wait to make them and surprise everyone who hasn't had them in a long time.

Slutty brownies but just the brownie part of the recipe. I may put some Oreos inside depending on what my kids want. But the brownie is always requested.

We're having my mom and in-laws over this Sunday for 'Grandparent's Christmas' and I'm making a Christmas bundt cake that I made last year and everyone loved.

For Christmas Eve/Day I'm making an assortment of cookies to bring:

Rainbow Cookies

Sugar Cookie M&M Bars

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Grinch Cookies

I have a dumb question….. When should I be baking Christmas cookies for Christmas and Christmas Eve? Ideally i would prefer to bake 12/23 and get it done, but will it stay ok? Don't want to go to the trouble of baking for it to be stale by Christmas!

Marie Calendar's banana cream pie (from the frozen food section it's amazing haha!), apple pie, cheesecake, pecan balls, and an Italian honey cookie that my nonna makes. Ice cream for the kiddies.

I am keeping it simple and making the fruity pebble cookies AND the cocoa pebbles cookies
Easiest recipe ever and everyone loves them! (If anyone does make the cocoa ones use brownie batter instead of chocolate cake batter they are so much better that way)
