looking for a new pediatrician
We are in North Shore nassau, but spend a lot of time and will hopefully eventually move to south shore. Willing to drive a bit for a great doctor.
We've been with our pediatrician's office for 4 years, since DD1 was born. The office is ok, but our favorite Dr left and I'm looking for something better.
After being at a practice with a lot of doctors, I think I'd like to try a practice with only 1 or 2 doctors. I don't mind to see a PA sometimes for sick visits, but I'd prefer to see the same Dr for well baby visits and for the Dr to be reachable in a true emergency. I'd also like them to have at least one late night and/or Saturday appointments. If you know of a good Dr, please recommend.

CPEC pediatrics on Mineola. Love Dr Gabrielli there. Also love Dr. Polsinelli and Castiglia.

Katherine Matthews in lindenhurst. She is my friends mom and an AMAZING doctor. My husband also does their accounting and medical billing for the office. She is so sweet and dedicated, open on weekends when need be (there every Saturday until 3 at least) and open until 9 1-2 nights a week. and the best thing about her is she orders all vaccines preservative free- no charge to you, she absorbs the cost knowing she is not giving the kids something unnecessary makes her happy. FM to use my name as a reference

looking for a new pediatrician
Dr. Lippman and Dr. Rosenbloom in Baldwin on Merrick Rd. Probably far for you now, but it's only the 2 docs there and 1 NP who I like. I live in Merrick and travel there to Baldwin because we like a small practice. Bonus they are open 7 days a week. Almost always will squeeze you in for a sick visit, even if you call in the afternoon. I picked my DS once from daycare and could tell he wasn't right. I was going to go to urgent care but they said to bring him in at 5pm. Very accomodating with paperwork. There can be a long wait at times, but I think it's hard to have the best of both worlds; the doctors spend time with you and I rarely feel rushed.

looking for a new pediatrician
We see pediatric professionals of LI in RVC. Love it there. Beach Pediatrics is Oceanside also gets rave reviews from everyone I know who goes there (they offer appointments 7 days a week which is a plus).

Dr John Zaso in east Meadow is awesome. He is the only Dr but does have a PA. I've called him during off hours and he always calls back right away. I'm pretty sure he has one late night and he's in the office til 1pm on saturdays.

Dr. Anna Dellorusso at Park Pediatrics in Floral Park is great
then you can switch to her awesome husband in East Rockaway Pediatrics if you come down to the South Shore! <3 HIM
