January 2017 Mamas!
Went in yesterday each baby is over 5lbs. We maybe decided on names and finally decided on cord blood banking. Hopefully it gets here before I go into labor. I'm 1cm dilated with irregular contractions. My feet keep swelling Unfortunately because baby A keeps changing positions and my doctor feels a csection is safest. Not happy but the only thing that matters is that my babies are safe. Next Wednesday at my appointment I'll schedule my csection. Hopefully next week we are having babies!!!!

January 2017 Mamas!
My first day of maternity leave was Tuesday- 1 day shy of 35 weeks. 35 weeks is average delivery with twins so that was why I stopped. So glad I did

Introducing Samantha Lee, born 1/11/17 @7:23am, 7lbs9oz, 19.5 inches. VBAC was a success, in a lot of pain as the needs ware off but anything is better than a c-section.

January 2017 Mamas!
Had my twins today via csection at 36 weeks! Andrew Christopher (baby A) was 3lbs 15 oz and the reason for a c section just a few hours after my doctors appointment. He had very little movement and hadn't grown in about 2 weeks. Anthony Michael (baby B) was 5lbs 2oz. Both are in the NICU but doing amazing. No breathing interventions required (thankfully I got the steroid shot at 28 weeks!) My c section was amazing and went smoothly no nausea, vomiting, shakes, just some dry eye following the c section. I couldn't had asked for a better delivery. I finally got to the NICU at 10:30 or so since I was having some pain getting up. Overall I feel good just starting to develop gas pains but it's not terrible! Feels amazing to be a mom!

January 2017 Mamas!
I am doing well! My twins are great! I have 2 more weeks of leave. My last day was dec 30th. Twins were born 1/12! They are in 3 and 3-6 month clothing, have both rolled over, smile intentionally, coo like crazy! Their sleeping and crying has gotten much better! My one son has a severe milk allergy and we finally are in a good place with it. My other son has torticollis and will be starting early intervention in April! Hope everyone is doing well!!
