Cancelling well check
Dd2 hD her 18 month well visit Wednesday. I took her. Just kept her (and my 3yo dd who came with us) in the regular waiting area. They have a separate waiting room for sick.
I also washed their hands when we got home.

Re: Cancelling well check
Ours has a separate room for sick also, but what about the treatment rooms? Do they separate those as well? Silly question, I know.

Ours also has separate treatment rooms. We are always in specific ones for well visits and sick visits.

There's always going to be something going around. At any given time there will also be sick children and well visits happening simultaneously. No matter what.

Re: Cancelling well check
Not sure how old your DD is, but when we have a well visit they don't have us sit in the waiting area. They put us right into a well visit room. Not sure if your practice does that, but maybe it's worth calling and asking.

Cancelling well check
i would take her- just take some wet wipes or hand sanitizer with you and use it right afterward. i never asked... but i'm pretty sure my peds office uses different exam rooms for sick vs. well visits. we always seem to end up in the same ones depending on what we're there for. also when its a sick visit, it seems like they take us back faster, too to keep DS out of the waiting room HAHA (they have a separate waiting room for sick, but the toys are all in the main waiting room- so i don't really think it stays "sick-free" LOL )
