Children's Party Entertainers
Hi looking for recommendations for entertainer for children's birthday party. My daughter is turning 2. Prices would be very helpful and appreciated! I asked a couple places and it ranged for $400-700 for 45 min to an hour, which seems like a lot to me.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Children's Party Entertainers
We used clowns.com twice Once did a Captain america theme Once did a pirate theme Both times, they did a great job. We did use the lowest package (not so many kids), and they had add one for us (transportation plus character) and tip. Came out to almost $300 all in. Last party I hosted... I skipped entertainment, spent that $ on food and alcohol (not for kids) and everyone had just as good a time.
Another option is to join your local moms group and hire some teens. The ones who run camp would be ideal. I'm going to do this for the next party we host. $50-100 for a teen to do an hour or so of organized activity is a sweet gig!

Children's Party Entertainers
We also used Clowns.com. We just used them this past November for my daughters 5th birthday party. We hired a magician and a princess. It was fantastic. They put on a wonderful show and were very good with the kids. I had about 30 kids ranging from 1-8 and everyone had a great time.
It came to $300 for the package plus I tipped $60 which they recommend. They came set up quickly. They started with facepaint and balloon animals. Then they did some games and dancing. They then did a magic show and ended with bubbles. Everyone asked them for a card at the end of the party.

Oh interesting idea! There is a Douglaston Little Neck parents Facebook group that I'm part of that I could ask in. Another other places to find local mom groups? Thank you!
