For those that catered for their children's party
Did you have something separate for the children or did you make sure to include child friendly dishes like chicken, potatoes, rice, etc.?

We got chicken cutlets for the kids but everything else was with the adults in mind...the kiddies ate it all though.

I'm going to order a pizza or two for the kids. Some kids are picky eaters in my family.

I didn't, but you could just go to BJ's and buy the big box chicken nuggets, put them in a foil pan and pop them in the oven. Then you can get a Mac and Cheese or something and that's it.
Are you using Frank's Deli? They have Mac & Cheese.

Re: For those that catered for their children's party
I went to BJs and got DIno bites and Stouffers MAC and Cheese - we put that out first - so parents could feed the kids first - witha sign that said kids food so adults wouldn't eat it (however - caught MY DAD eating the mac and cheese!) Then caterers showed up with rest of food - timing was perfect b/c kids were fed before parents - so that parents could enjoy their food.

The only thing we had chicken fingers, mac & cheese and french fries for the kids, but the adults actually ate some of that as well.

we didnt either.....but the chicken nuggets is a quick n easy idea. We just ordered "adult" foods and tried to include some that were kid friendly...like you said..chicken...rice..etc.

We had adult foods (we are West Indian so adult food is a MUST) but for the kids I ordered pizza and had other kid friendly foods.
