Re: Anyone drive a Mazda cx 5 or 7?
I owned a x7 and based on my experience with it and the dealer I will never buy another mazda. The repairs were insanely expensive. If you needed a new belt they designed the car to have to take apart the entire engine which adds so much more to the bill. If you look up statistics on the longevity of the car it was basically dead by 90,000 miles on average, which for a modern car really disappointed me. I expect a car to last 10 years. I drive less than 12,000 a year. The car did not last and did not retain it's vale. Consumer reports ranks it as a not to purchase.

We have the CX5 and love it, its awesome to drive, awesome on gas and have never had an issue. (We also have a 2012 Mazda 6 and a 2006 Mazda 6 that we sold when we bought the CX5.) We dealt with Bright Bay Mazda and Wantagh Mazda, some dealerships are hit and miss, which I feel is every car brand.
The CX7 is discontinued so I wouldn't purchase one of those. The CX7 was made when they were still owned by Ford and some Mazdas were made in Mexico. Now they're a independent company again.
