Re: Trump's response when questioned directly about anti-semitism and JCC bomb threats, as well as Israel:
Blows my mind that people aren't more concerned over crap like this and the statement about the holocaust. But at the same time, not really. I'm sickened.

It is sickening that this totally narcissistic, substance-less twit REFUSES to denounce antisemitism. But he's so great and gonna make this country feel the love and be real good. Yeah ok, moron.

Re: Trump's response when questioned directly about anti-semitism and JCC bomb threats, as well as Israel:
And directly following that comment from Netanyahu:
"And finally, if I can respond to something that I know from personal experience. I’ve known President Trump for many years, and to allude to him, or to his people -- his team, some of whom I’ve known for many years, too. Can I reveal, Jared, how long we’ve known you? (Laughter.) Well, he was never small. He was always big. He was always tall.
But I’ve known the President and I’ve known his family and his team for a long time, and there is no greater supporter of the Jewish people and the Jewish state than President Donald Trump. I think we should put that to rest."

I don't give a flying **** what Netanyahu said. The president of THIS COUNTRY was asked to respond to threats IN THIS COUNTRY against Jews IN THIS COUNTRY.
And he didn't.

THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!! Why are people not outraged by his inability to answer questions. I find it disgusting that he cannot even make a statement denouncing anti-Semitism. His whole presidency is Disgrace!

Actually, that's not what he was asked. This was the question:
And I wonder what you say to those among the Jewish community in the States, and in Israel, and maybe around the world who believe and feel that your administration is playing with xenophobia and maybe racist tones.
He was not asked how he felt about those specific incidents he was asked about his administrations role in those anti-Semitic attacks. And btw, I don't see any direct mention of the bomb threats against the JCCs so I am not sure why you expected him to address that directly.
And my opinion is that if you read the entire interview a lot of his answers were very good and on point.

Did you read the entire interview? This was probably the only question that really went of the rails in my opinion. Not that any of his answers should go off the rails but obviously people are going to focus more on those that do.

Are you for flucking real? What the ever loving fuccckkkk does his talking about him winning the election have anything to do with the question that was asked. He deflects everything to talk about himself. He is having rallies like he's campaigning. He is unhinged but apparently that doesn't matter.
And why do people expect him to address bomb threats against JCC's? Because he spends his time on fuccckkking twitter ******** about "fake news" or someone who may have insulted him but he can't take 5 fuccccking seconds to address a serious concern of many people. GTFOH.

Eliza, I do not mean this in a negative way but almost everything that you post comes from a strong place of emotion. You are clearly very heavily invested in your anti-Trump feelings. But if you read the question they are asking about his administrations role in anti-semitism and he is speaking about trying to UNITE the country. I think he is trying (but not really accomplishing) to say that his administration is about love and respect.
I did NOT say that i didn't expect him to respond to the threats agains the JCC bombs however, I would not have expected his answer to THAT PARTICULAR question to address it because that is not what was asked!!!!!

Trump's response when questioned directly about anti-semitism and JCC bomb threats, as well as Israel:
disclosure: I didn't read the whole interview and I know all politicians deflect but this answer is so poorly pieced together, almost incoherent. it doesn't really adress anything and the comments about the election victory are totally inappropriate.

LOLOLOLOLOL Yea, his administration is about love and respect. JOKE OF THE CENTURY.
He wasn't trying to say that, in fact, aside from the fact that he's an incoherent moron the ONLY point he was trying to get across was that he won, he's the best, he's awesome, go me!!! Same old narcissistic crap we hear EVERY DAMN DAY from this a$$hole. Give me a break, he's about love and respect. You cannot be serious!!

I am a Jew, an American and an Israeli citizen. I didnt want Trump as President but I did vote for him over Hillary.
I agree with Bibi that Trump is a supporter of the Jewish people and a supporter of Israel- ultimately that was what made me pull his lever in the polling booth over Hillarys. Obamas administration was the most hostile to Israel that I have ever seen.

So you're ok with him saying he's "fine" with a one state solution? You're ok with him not addressing the rise in antisemitism recently, including increasing incidents of antisemitic acts?

Re: Trump's response when questioned directly about anti-semitism and JCC bomb threats, as well as Israel:
Trump just claimed the antisemitism is coming from people who oppose him as an attempt to make him look bad.
And also. He told an orthodox Jewish reporter attempting to ask about rising antisemitism....to SIT DOWN mid question.
He loves Jews eh?

Re: Trump's response when questioned directly about anti-semitism and JCC bomb threats, as well as Israel:
It's up to the people of Israel to decide about a one state or two state solution- not America nor the UN. The Palestinians are unwilling to recognize Israel as a state at all so it really doesn't matter because until they can, there will not be a solution at all.
Iran is the biggest threat to Israel and Obamas deal with Iran was horrific- Trump has acknowledged this and I don't think Hillary would have.
Have we heard who has committed these recent antisemitic attacks?

LuLu and whomever else, here you go. SPECIFICALLY asked about the bomb threats here. A very fair, nicely worded question, and he tells the man to SIT DOWN and still doesn't answer.
I'm sorry, I can't fathom a single Jew thinking this man supports or cares about our community at all.

Re: Trump's response when questioned directly about anti-semitism and JCC bomb threats, as well as Israel:
I watched the entire conference since I was having lunch at home and frankly think the whole conference was a joke and nothing but a performance that seemed more like a campaign rally than a Press conference.
What was telling to me in particular was how he treated the anti-Semetic question, he basically cut off the reporter half-way through and said "Oh you can sit down now, I know what your question is asking." and he spent about 2 minutes babbling on about how he is not anti-Semetic (sp?), not racist, and how he loves the Jews. What he really should have said was "yes its a problem w/ these isolated incidents of anti-semitism but my administration will do X,Y,Z to deal with it" and he didn't.. I thought it was rude how he treated that reporter, but most of his flippant manner is likely attributable to the fact that the reporter's style of asking the question just didn't please Trump. Just a few seconds later, he was praising some reporter's shorter question about the Congressional Black Caucus and how he planned to meet w/ them to address inner-city crime.
The whole Israel "1 state", "2 state" solution is very complicated. I dont think any administration can be tasked with having a fair solution for this, just like there really will never be "Peace in the Middle East". There can only be simply, periods of "stability" and thats the best we can hope for. W/ Trump, all of that is off the table.
