Re: Bermuda
I have been there at least 10 times maybe even more... I lost track. with 2 more trips planned this year. It is Americas Cup this year so watch your dates... Prices will be crazy in June.
I have stayed at: Newstead Belmont Hills Grotto Bay Tucker's Point Elbow Beach
If it is your first time ever going, I do recommend a cruise.
Bermuda is pricey with cabs and some restaurants. You can't rent a car only scooters. you drive on the opposite side of the road. So it is a little confusing if you are in the round abouts.
It is seriously our favorite place to go. Everyone is super friendly. American money is accepted so need to change currency.
I love elbow beach. You can just walk out from your room and head to the beach without having to take a shuttle.
They also have great restaurants on the property.
If you need an information on other restaurants... we have been to many. feel free to message me

Re: Bermuda
I love Bermuda! We have cruised there 3 times. We take public transportation everywhere. We researched Tom Moores Jungle and swam in the caves there. You can do it as part of a tour but we did it on our own. It was amazing!!

We did 2 cruises on NCL and 1 on Holland America to Bermuda. We love NCL. We are going to be going on a NCL cruise this summer to Atlantis.
If you like the saunas, etc. stay in a spa balcony or spa suite room if you can afford it. It gives you free access to the thermal spa. You can also buy it separate too. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm an NCL cruiser, too. We most often do the cruise to Bermuda- probably about 5 or 6 times now. I think it's the best way to travel and you get three full days in Bermuda so plenty of time to see the sites. I love Horseshoe Bay, Swizzle Inn, the Crystal Caves, and they have swimming with dolphins!
ETA: I second what a PP said about the prices in late May/June. They are insane right now. We had originally planned to go at the end of May but we decided to wait until August/September til the prices go down again. As for getting around, you can buy a 3-day bus pass and use that. We never had any problems getting around on the buses.

Re: Bermuda
I have only cruised on celebrity cruises and the last time I cruised was 2010.
We don't have children and I feel like it doesn't attract too many families. Although like I said it has been 7 years since we cruised so this could have all changed.
But the food was fantastic and the service was just amazing.

I've done Ncl breakaway and RCCL anthem of the seas (just got off this morning), both which go to Bermuda. No kids, I'd pick royal but really you could go with either one. Both have different features. Ncl has the ice bar, a cirque du soleil dinner show, and a premium adults only area and also a free one. Royal has 3 good shows, a really nice adult area, and North Star which is like a crane that takes people up like 100 feet or something.
