Need ideas for NYC Bachelorette Party
Im in charge of planning for my sister and I have no clue what is good anymore. Its been a while. A long while lol. Ideaa please if you have been to a B party recently. What places/restaurants/lounges/clubs are trendy and fun nowadays? Also anyone been to hunkomania? Is it cheesy? Sleezy? Both? Lol help! I have no idea what im doing and its a big party for about 15 ladies. TIA!

For my bach we went to Duane park.
I enjoyed it. It's an amazing burlesque show and dinner. Food was great.
My bff wanted to do hunkomania for hers. If you go with a group where at least one or two girls are wild free spirits, it's a good time. If everyone is reserved, I don't recommend it. Most the guys are gay and the women there are so thirsty!!! It's fun to go and to watch these girls go nuts.

depends what your sister and the group are interested in, what they are willing to spend etc.
My SIL would have LOVED something more fun and cheesy like the Culture Club, but she had one friend who took over, totally didn't think of the overall group's vibe, and insisted on this uber trendy VERY young midtown bar/lounge.
It was SO not my SIL at ALL - it was so not ANYONE (even the planner) at all - it was a club full of 20 year old foreign socialites.
Talk to her about what she'd like and go from there.
If you're doing it during nicer weather, a rooftop is always fun -

I did this for mine.
I've done Hunkomania for my friends Bp and it can be sleezy. Its definitely not chipendales, the bachlerotte will be grabbed and thrown on stage and touched and rubbed on. So if she wouldn't be down for any of that then i would go a different route.
I've also done wine tasting out east and you can stay at a spa hotel.

I've been to Duane park it was really cool there.
We went to pulse karaoke in Times Square and had a private room with bottle service. It was awesome. And not very expensive

I've been to hunkomania -- not in recent years, but back when all my friends were getting engaged and I lived in the city. It was totally cheesy but fun and good for laughs if you are that kind of crowd.
Another fun idea -- in the "kind of cheesy" vein but less risqué than the stripper route - is going to a piano bar, where everyone has a ton of drinks and sings along to fun music. For one of my friend's 40th birthday parties, we went to the Duplex piano bar on Christopher street and had a great time singing along to Billy Joel songs, and songs from musicals (like "Grease").
For my bachelorette party, a thousand years ago, we started out with dinner at a place that had a "wine dinner" option (basically unlimited wine tastings with dinner). It's usually at steakhouse type places, though. I think Maloney and Porcelli still does it.
If you don't want a whole sit-down at a big dinner thing but want to hop around to different places, maybe look at www.citywinetours.com?
Maybe a fun off-Broadway show, or something interactive?
In nice weather, I agree that rooftop bars are great and there are a lot of fun ones.
None of the things mentioned above are very "trendy" - I'm not really in the know anymore. LOL.

Need ideas for NYC Bachelorette Party
Mine was in NYC a few years ago. We stayed in soho don't remember he name and went to dinner there and a club. No idea where. Earlier in the day we went pole dancing which was awesome!
I'm going to one tomorrow we are doing a paint and sip and then dinner at los Feliz. Apparently there is dancing there too. I'll post after this weekend how it was!
Oh Eta: for my SIL like 6 years ago we did LIPS and dinner which was fun!

I feel so old. The most fun Bach party I ever went to was the awesome 80s prom. It closed years ago but just reminiscing.

For mine We did tony and Tina's wedding. Another friend did cooking party. Another we did spa day at a local spa.
