REs who are knowledgeable of Endometriosis/autoimmune diseases
Curious if anyone had luck finding a RE or Dr who is knowledgable on Endometriosis and other autoimmune diseases? Dr. Braverman seems to be the best bet but he does not accept insurance and I can't afford his fees. Dr. T also but I can't go out to Manhattan at this point.

Didn't Dr. T do the testing for you? I couldn't use them either but they did do the testing and recommended a low dose prednisone.

Re: REs who are knowledgeable of Endometriosis/autoimmune diseases
For my endo, he didn't have to test for it. It was documented with surgeries and hormone levels. So he recommended lupron protocol but he's way to far now for me to travel to. Braverman is the top for endo on the island but his prices out of pocket would too much for me. :( How have you been? Edited bc yes, he tested for NK and DQ alpha but I meant general autoimmune like RA/Lupus bc endo is considered an autoimmune inflammatory disease so I need someone who knows how to deal with that. And yes, steroid is the most common but I want to try to avoid that if possible! Ugh this sucks.

Have you spoken to Braverman's office lately? I know they have a "package". I would check into it.

Re: REs who are knowledgeable of Endometriosis/autoimmune diseases
Dr. B is honestly the best option for me RE wise bc he's so knowledgable on endo but I can't see myself putting that much money out of pocket again. With endo, your body can reject a cycle instantly with the hormone craziness and I had two horribly failed IVFs that really messed with me :/ maybe I'll change my mind but I'm def going to try his endo supplement.

He originally sold them on Amazon too but that stopped. Not sure why but he has them in office and through his website. It's pricey but I'll give it a whirl.

You can monitor at home and still go to Dr. T for procedures only. I was going to Zwanger Pesiri and Quest. Just a thought. Also I think going to Kofinas and seeing what he can do for you is a good start. Since you were able to get pregnant naturally maybe if he puts you on the correct meds and monitors you closely that will work. If I could get pregnant naturally I would definitely be going to him. Braverman is so close to my house and I would have loved to see him but no way I could afford him since he doesn't take my insurance.

YES.
I could not get pregnant with IVF but Kofinas helped me with TI and the right medication.

I did the quest thing the last time I was with Dr. T. I just can't imagine going into the city with my DD at times. It's just way too out of the way for me right now but hoping Kofinas can give the same insight. I really love Dr. T though!!! Maybe I will schedule at the least a consult just to see what he thinks.
