Only one egg retrieved
Feeling pretty disappointed. Anyone have a success story with only one egg retrieved and have it fertilize/make it to transfer?

IM sorry to hear this. both tries i had 8 eggs retrieved, but most werent good. I had at most 2 fertilize and only one make it to transfer.
but you ONLY NEED ONE. So hopefully you get a good fert report. Fingers crossed!!

Ironically; I just met someone this weekend. We got to talking. She had an IVF cycle with only one retrieved and turned out to be her first born.
There's always hope.

I'm sorry you had only one retrieved. Hopefully it fertilizes and makes it to transfer. Fingers crossed for you.

I had just 2 fertilize and one resulted in DS. I kept repeating to myself it just takes one! good luck!

I'm so sorry. I had two failed IVFs that only yielded one egg and it didn't make it both times. It was very heartbreaking. Sending you hugs and if you ever need to talk, FM me.

I was wondering the same as moonmist09. I'm also I poor responder and the second cycle they changed me to a lupron protocol.

We have tried a few different protocols... I have done so many IVF's, I feel like my ovaries are just over it!
