I put it in after I wash my hair- on damp hair- it gives volume and body and texture. My fine hair is very soft and lacks oomph and "grip". It just goes flat and soft and doesn't hold a style. This stuff helps to give texture and amp it up It's also creamy so it conditions a bit as well and smooths

Hair products
I love Living Proof. I have super coarse, thick hair - I use the PHD shampoo and conditioner, With the restore mask once a week. For styling I use blowout, restore perfecting spray and the PHD leave in.

My verdict....
LOVE IT! I totally notice a difference. I bought the shampoo no frizz, mousse, nourishing styling cream and it came with some pre-shampoo cream you put on before the shower. I tried everything, but the mousse last night. I did use my biologe conditioner. When I was drying my hair I noticed a difference right away. Even DH said my hair looked smoother. I only bought the small sizes will be going back to Ulta.
ETA - I did this last night and still looks good sleeping on it last night. I wanted to switch bc I got a haircut a couple of weeks ago. Cut it about 7 inches (above my shoulder) and I first loved it, but then wasn't happy with the way it looked when I didn't really work on it during the week. These products definitely made a difference. :)
