Glass sliding door window treatments

What do you have as window treatment for your glass sliding door? Does anyone have shades? of so is it functional with the doors sliding?

Re: Glass sliding door window treatments

I use white sheer drapes. I don't have anyone behind me so I don't need privacy, it's more just for the look.

Re: Glass sliding door window treatments

I had custom roller shades made for my 3-panel slider. They look great on the sliders. Pic is in my New House album. Can never post a pic from this site. Chat Icon

ETA: They are separate panels and I do keep them raised but not all the way which gives it a valance kind of look. They do not interfere at all with operating the sliders.

OMG! Can you come decorate my house? I LOVE everything you did.

May I ask where you found the hallway console table and mirror? And the teal decorative piece? It's exactly what I've been looking for.

Your home is beautiful!

Awww, thank you so much! The console and mirror are from Home Goods. The decorative piece I found while browsing Craigslist. It was spray-painted white. I refinished it myself with chalk paint in duck egg blue and a dark wax coat and then distressed it. I've had all 3 pieces for years.

We have custom hunter douglas shades. I never put them down because our backyard is very private.

Do you happen to hVe the Roman blinds? I was looking at them today and love the look but I'm wondering if they would fit in a sliding door

Beautiful pics! Can I ask a question. Is this a Divosta home in FL? it looks a lot like my house! Oakmont or Carlyle.

Thank you so much! Yes, it is! It's the Oakmont. I've only recently relocated to FLA from LI. I love this house and have been told he is one of the best builders in the area. I am in Delray Beach.
