Dirty Dancing Remake - W-T-F was that garbage????
That was literally the WORST piece of trash I've EVER seen on television. What in the hell were they thinking remaking that classic, perfect movie???!!! I could only watch bits and pieces of it because it was absolutely atrocious!! The acting was embarrassing and the casting was horrid. I haven't seen Abigail Breslin in years,I couldn't believe how terrible, matronly, and old she looked!! She was AWFUL casting for Baby. She also couldn't dance a damn lick and looked like an idiot trying.
Seriously, why on earth do they make these things?? What a complete waste of money, worst remake I've ever seen and that's saying a lot because I thought the Beaches remake was the worst thing I ever saw in my life. Dirty Dancing now takes the cake!!

I could not watch a remake of that classic.
Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze ,they just cannot be replaced.
Same thing with Sound of Music, Steel Magnolias, and Moonstruck. They are just classics that I can watch over and over again and would not want to see different actors in the roles.

EPIC disaster. I flicked it on a few times and then caught the ending.................absolutely AWFUL. Whoever made this movie should be embarrassed.

I didn't even know this was happening but scrolling through FB last night people were all up in arms over how God awful it was.
Except for one girl on my feed- who said it was good.
But she's a bit off so...

didnt they do a sequel in the theaters to this like "dirty dancing havana nights" or some crap like that??
i vaguely heard of something on TV yesterday but never in 100 years would I watch anything but the original. You just cannot remake this movie.

Right?! I didn't see it. It's not something that would interest me but going by these reviews I now feel compelled to watch just for the laughs

I had no idea they were even doing this and then I saw a clip of interviews on GMA 2 days ago. I remembered at like 8:45 that it was on and by 8:47 I turned it off.

I only saw a few clips online because everyone was talking about how awful it was and I was cringing. Abigal Breslin was all around awful pick for this role. She looked awful and was just terrible in the few clips I saw.
