First, I have to say.............who even cares what Kathy Griffin does or says, she couldn't be more irrelevant. That aside, it was in poor taste and she just made herself look stupid however, I don't feel it's punishable. She didn't actually threaten anyone or do any real harm. You can find it disturbing, which was clearly the point, but calling her to be jailed and punished is a little ridiculous.

The "right" also has some short term memory loss which is the only explanation for why they are crying and whining over how horrifying this is and how terrible the "left" is. Guess they all forgot the horrible, God awful images of Obama they were flaunting around just a few years ago. Nothing like seeing the POTUS lynched and set on fire. But details, details.

It was a tasteless and pointless pic but in the end, Kathy just made an a$$ of herself and ruined what tiny, little lame career she had left.

As an aside, I actually think it was weak and pathetic of her to apologize. I'm sure knew FULL well when she took this pic it would cause an outrage, at least have the backbone to stand by your convictions once the pic was released. I have less respect for her not because of the pic, but because she cowered and apologized.

I can't stand Kathy Griffin. She's always been an attention-seeking a$$hole. What she did was wrong and disturbing. Is it more disturbing than politicians and lawmakers who make sick comments? It's along similar lines as Trump implying "second amendment people" can take matters into their own hands in regards to HRC. Sure, some people will find ways to defend his sick comments and actions with the "that's not what he meant" excuses while pointing the finger at someone else's actions. It's along similar lines as Nugent's fked up commentary but there's never much uproar there, including from the president himself. Similar to politicians saying people should use second amendment remedies, or that there should be liberal hunting permits, or using images of your political opponent at target practice... Or the politician that advertised removing his opponent at gun shops right before his opponent actually did get shot at an event... Palin putting out a map with crosshairs targeting opposing politicians and urging supporters to reload. But, again, never any uproar there. Yep, there were disturbing effigies of Obama, just like there were effigies of GWB. Of course with GW there hasn't been much history of lynching old rich white men. Still disturbing.


Personally, I find all of it disgusting. But there are some people with an extremely one-sided view of life.

I honestly just think everyone is angry and no one can see straight when they are angry. Pair this with being entitled, and this is what we have now. No one has correct info, things are reported to keep us angry and in fear. We know Kathy griffin was never playing with a full deck. It's disturbing, both sides have done it, but who will be the smart and strong one to end it??

I don't see what the big deal is. This was all just a publicity stunt by someone that hasn't been relevant for a few years, and she's now getting her wish of being in the spotlight. "There's no such thing as bad publicity."
