Hotel near NYSE
My husband has to spend a night in the city next week for work, not something he normally does, so I have to find him a hotel to stay in near the NYSE. Any suggestions, nothing crazy expensive but not a hole in the wall either, he will basically just be sleeping there and checking out before 8am. Iv'e been looking around online but there are so many to choose from, just thought if anyone had any suggestions it might help narrow it down.
TIA!

I've stayed at the Andaz Wall Street. It's a Hyatt hotel and was very nice.

Club quarters. My company used them a lot.

The Andaz and the W are really nice. If you are looking for a lower price and you want to be as close to the NYSE as possible - stay at the Club Quarters. It's a decent hotel but the rooms are really small (our company uses them a lot for non executives).
There is also the Guild Hall and a new Four Points by Sheraton really close. Guild Halls rooms are a little bigger than Club Quarters (second choice for non executives). Our execs stay at the W, the Millenium Hilton or the Marriott Downtown.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I booked Club Quarters for him. Distance was definitely a motivating factor and while all the other ones looked really nice, I didn't want to spend too much being that he is literally just sleeping there and it was an unexpected expense to begin with.

His job is not paying for him to stay even though he is traveling for work?

Ugh that sucks! They need him to travel for work and don't pay for his hotel? Awful

Re: Hotel near NYSE
It's not mandatory that he spend the night, but highly recommended. He has to be somewhere at 8am and doesn't want to be late dealing with trains, etc. It does suck but I will just have to write it off next year as a business expense.

I've done the same thing on my $$ - it's easier to spend the night than to be in by 7am for me so I get a hotel room. Technically since I'm not traveling and could possibly make it from home by 7am, I don't need to pay.

Oh ok, I didn't know that. Yes, the out of pocket expense is well worth it in this case, I'd do the same!
