Car lease protection plan

We are leasing a Lexus gx. I never got the protection plan but they convinced me that Lexus nickels and dimes you at the end of a lease. Is it worth around $45 extra per month for overall protection to fix dings and dents during the lease or tires and to be able to bring the car back at the end w some damage? It's a lot extra per month.

I was told any scratches smaller than a credit card or dents smaller than a golf ball are considered normal wear and tear and you won't be charged for them.
I wouldn't waste money on that protection plan. I would just take my chances.

its just a way for them to make more money. chances are you are not leasing through lexus unless you are goign through lexus Finance or toyota finance.....most times its an outside bank.

Edited to add....Toyota Finance Corp was actually the easiest to deal with of all my leasign banks. I tured the car in with a broken sunroof and didn't get charged a dime. Not the morn I know but they were actually great to deal with on the whole process and Lexus Finance is a division of the Toyota Finance Corp.

I'd roll the dice and skip any kind of plan.
