what is happening to my hydrangeas?
Anyone know? we just planted them in May or June. They were doing good and now lately... what happened? they get watered sometimes every day, if not every other day.
do they need to be watered more? less?

what is happening to my hydrangeas?
No pics but what is happening? My flowers are all dying off but that is the cycle. I haven't had flowers for years and this year was the first time in probably 5 years.
I wouldn't worry much about them, I do not water mine other than rain and the water they get from the sprinklers (which are not directed on them)

No pics, but I planted one in May June as well and all the flowers are wilted and brown! It gets plenty of water as well. I am not sure what happened...but now I am debating just pulling it out because its in my front bed and looks awful.

but yes they look like this! Like they are burnt or dying.

Same here. Was just so glad to have blooms this year! But they did turn brown early

It's just so strange because we have 4 hydrangeas and the 4th one is in a different spot and still bloomed, nice and green, etc etc.

Probably a combination of the strong sun, the heat.
Keep watering daily, just make sure to either water early in the morning or late in the afternoon when there is no sun so that the leaves don't burn.
ETA : Some varieties have flowers that dry naturally on the stalk, doesn't matter how much you water. It's just the life span of the flower.

what is happening to my hydrangeas?
Mine look burnt too but the leaves are still very green. I'm hoping next year they do better
