Anyone watch the premier of Kevin Can Wait?
I was curious to see how they handled killing off the wife.
I thought the whole episode was cheesy and terrible.
And Leah- she looks awful with her new face.
I don't see this lasting.

To be honest, I look at them both so differently now. And I used to love Kevin James and Leah Remini.
But after knowing the "backstory" I think what he did was just fk'd up. He should have just had Leah become part of his show from Day 1.
I think they way they killed the original wife off was pretty cold. Not much of a mention really.
And Leah was way over the top with her acting. Got on my nerves wayyyyy too much. Most especially when they were at the restaurant.
I'd be surprised if it lasts........but who knows.

And how cheesy was it that her fiancee gets an attack of appendicitis right before the wedding?
Wow, sitcom cheese much?
They couldn't come up with anything better?
OH NO! What will we do now??? I know! Let's have the wedding in the hospital chapel! Brilliant!!!
And yeah, it's super easy to get a marriage liscence in one day so you can marry someone to keep them in the country..
Yeah ok.
I just thought it was terrible all around.
I can't stand Leah anymore either- her acting has tanked in the years since King of Queens- as has her cat woman face

Horrible!! I didn't care for it before, but even worse now. I kept saying to DH throughout the show... this is so bad and won't make it.
Used to love those two, but this is just bad. Leah just saw the guy say "Ouch" and she's like... it's his appendix, we have to get him to the hospital!
Really... she's a doctor now too?!
They didn't even mention the mom. Just the fact that she died a year ago and she's still getting mail or something to that fact.
It's like Hogan's Family. LOL!

I can't watch it- I didn't really like the first season and now they just turned it into the King of Queens...
But, I had no idea his wife in real life is hot. Damn Kevin James...

She played Carrie's hot nail girl and Doug was having fantasies about her on one episode.

It's funny, but I couldn't accept the parts where they were "missing the mom" because I couldn't separate how it happened in real life, and felt like I couldn't "buy" their performance that he missed her LOL
Yeah they are going to have to incorporate some good storylines with him and Leah Remini if this show stands a chance.

I'm surprised the show has a second season. I can see why they would try making changes to the cast, but I don't think it's enough to make it a good show. The season premiere was better than the episodes I watched last year, but not enough that I want to keep watching.
