Party ideas for boys?

Can anyone recommend any fun party places for 7 year old boys?

I feel like they are too old for pump it up parties.

Movie party? - I feel like this wouldn't be so fun because the kids don't get to interact.

My street is too narrow for a game truck even though DS would love it.

Bowling?

Any other suggestions are very welcomed!

My son is turning 7 next month and I'm at a loss too. We did bowling for his 6th and everyone had a great time. He actually wants to do it again, but I'd like to try something different. (IMO, Pump it Up is not too babyish.)

There are better options for girls. My son would enjoy some type of art party but I'm thinking the other boys wouldn't... lol
Paint night for 7 year olds? Chat Icon maybe?

If my house was larger, I'd have Mad Science come to my house but 15-18 boys in a 1200 sq ft house won't work.

Go karts, either indoors http://karts1.com/birthday-party-info.html or any of the outdoor courses
Dave and Busters
Trampoline places
Adventureland
Laser tag
Adventure Park https://longislandadventurepark.org/ It's only for ages 7 and up, so you might need to wait until you can guarantee that all of his friends can go.

We just had a paint party for my 7 year old DS at Muse paint bar. We had the whole place to ourselves; the kids had a blast.

It actually wasn't bad.
I think I paid $420 for the place itself.
I got food at stop and shop for another $250.

forgot to mention, they do family paint days on weekends if you want to do that with DS first. We did it as a family and it was a lot of fun! If you look up their fb page, you'll see his birthday in the photos from this weekend.

Bowling, mini golf, laser tag, paintball, or a place where they can play a sport they like.

Re: Party ideas for boys?

We had my DS's birthday recently at PJ Raceways in Ronkonkoma.
It is a slot car racing place and everyone had so much fun.
You have to bring in your own pizza, cake etc but tehre is a pizzeria right next door so they deliver during the party.
You have 2 party hosts who run races with the kids on different tracks.
We had all ages and even some of the dads raced cars.

If they're into video games, I would suggest CulturePlay in East Meadow. http://www.cultureplay.org We used them a lot when DS had school breaks, and I know they do parties.

DS' bday is this weekend and we hired a local gaming truck that comes to your house (we're in NC, but I'm guessing there are some available in NY, too).

I honestly do not do birthday parties - it's not my thing - I'd prefer to do something special with his close friends instead BUT...with that said - if I EVER did a party for my son it would be here.

It's nothing fancy, but this is the age they LOVE Nerf guns and we've been to two parties here - OMG such a great hit with all the kids - even the parents.
I highly recommend!
