Window treatment help
I am extremely window dressing impaired.... I currently have those plastic vertical blinds, looking to upgrade to something a little more modern- our picture window is pretty big- like 12 foot - a huge pane in the center that doesn't move and then on each side it's like 16 inches and they do open- so I have no clue any ideas?? Also any recommendations on places that come to the home to install/ sell you the products?? Thanks!

Re: Window treatment help
I've never had professional blinds installed, I've only bought and hung myself - but most people I know that have, have used blinds to go. Im sure they would be able to provide you with a lot of options!

Window treatment help
We used Homestead and Long Islans Window Treatments for our home. Both were excellent!

I used Smith and Noble and did not have a good experience with them. I've heard good things about Homestead.

Re: Window treatment help
Our window treatments in the living room cover the entire wall. I saw pictures of it on Houzz and got inspired. It’s so dramatic and I love it.
ETA.. the person we used for our drapes is north shore/Nassau based, quite expensive, and was not the most reliable. That said, the drapes were custom made and look amazing.
