Places to go with the kids that are "Christmasy"
Any recommendations on places to take kids that get us in the Christmas spirit. Anywhere in the tri-state area and even PA is fine. Is there a North Pole/Santa's workshop that the kids can enter and tour anywhere?
Where do you take your kids?

I agree with Hicks in Old Westbury. My kids can walk around and enjoy all the decorations for a hour easily.

*NYC- everywhere in NYC feels Christmasy this time of year but especially Macy's @ 34th, rock. center, and the winter village in the park.
*Holtsville Ecology Center
*Hicks Nursery
*The Storybook Experience !! Interaction with Santa.
*Lights on the Lake in Syracuse, NY. really great
*The Polar Express
*Malls this time of year are obviously Christmasy

Milleridge Inn Christmas Village looks really cute. The cafe in the shops area has those crazy milkshakes! I think it would be nice as an afternoon outing, not something you'd spend hours at, but really cute!

Re: Places to go with the kids that are "Christmasy"
We did the city today & the kids loved it. We went to the tree & watched the skaters. We went to the Top of the Rock which was awesome & they really got a kick out of it. Then we did St. Patrick's, & windows at Saks, Barneys & Macy's. Macys does reservations now for Santaland.

Re: Places to go with the kids that are "Christmasy"
We did the rockettes sunday, followed by Bryant Park. Bryant Park was so packed, it wasn’t even enjoyable. We got a nosh to hold us over, dd road the carousel, and we left. So disappointing. I used to love those markets.
